All aluminium airframe makes for a very robust mini chopper for the more advanced lounge room pilot. 3 channels give you a bit more to think about, but also give you a lot more control. Operation & Charging Guidelines:
The helicopter is powered by a small Lithium Polymer (Li Po) battery which can be charged from either the:
• USB port on a PC or USB charger, or
• Hand controller
Li Po batteries should never be fully discharged as this can permanently damage, or reduce the life expectancy of the battery. To prevent this occurring, the helicopter has built-in battery protection circuit to shut down the electronics when the helicopter typically starts to run out of lift. If the protection circuit is activated (and depending on the level of battery discharge), it may be necessary to charge the Li Po battery using the USB method. Note, the USB charging method is extremely fast and saves draining energy from the AA batteries in the hand controller.
If this is inconvenient, and you wish to use the hand controller for charging, do not let the Li Po battery discharge to the point of shut down. Charge the helicopter regularly and well before it runs out of lift.
